Remote Mapper allows a Mac to be controlled by other devices over the local network. It is mainly targeted as an home theatre application. It listens to codes sent by devices on your network and executes series of actions defined for them. It was originally created to allow control of a Mac by iRule. It could also be used from a web browser or any application that could send http get requests.
